This is actually really relevant to me today. I’ve been writing Crystal’s R/S Christmas gift and then I took a break and went on tumblr and found this. Ooh, spooky.

The sand underneath him is wet beneath his fingers and he makes a claw into the flimsy ground. His knuckles are white and dusted with dark flecks. The sea comes in and twirls around his wrists, lapping gently at his frozen skin. He can already feel a slight tremor shudder through his cool body.
